Student Wellness Center

  • Mission: The Wellness Center at Rowan Cabarrus Community College is dedicated to promoting the overall well-being of our students, faculty and staff through a holistic health services, mental health support, basic needs support, fitness resources, and educational workshops and presentations. We aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can thrive academically, personally, and physically, empowering them to lead balanced and healthy lives.
  • Vision Statement: To be a leading resource for student success, wellness and personal growth at Rowan Cabarrus Community College, where every individual is inspired and equipped to cultivate a lifelong commitment to health, wellness and resilience. We envision a community where students feel supported, healthy, and ready to succeed in all aspects of their lives.

Support services are provided to students in the areas of personal needs, crisis response, community resources, and on-site food/resource pantry (Campus Market). The staff is composed of trained professionals who are qualified to help individuals assess and understand their personal issues, abilities, aptitudes, and interests. Counseling services are confidential and are focused to promote the growth and success of the individual.

Zen Zones

Zen Zones are located at each Wellness Center location. The Zen Zone is a calming and relaxing atmosphere that has been created for students and staff to reset and relax throughout the day.
